Common Plywood Types by Application

Film Faced Plywood (Concrete Formwork)

Phenolic resin-impregnated film coating on both sides. Reusable 8-12 times. Core options: hardwood (birch, poplar) or softwood. Thickness: 12-18mm. Most commonly used for concrete pouring in construction projects.

Commercial Plywood (Furniture & Cabinetry)

Face veneer grades range from A (highest) to D (utility). MR (Moisture Resistant) glue for indoor use, BWR (Boiling Water Resistant) for kitchens and bathrooms. Popular in furniture manufacturing and interior fit-out.

Melamine Plywood
